I think there is a deep polarization that has taken place in the system some of it was slowly built so I'm not saying the polarization got created in 2014 or after that. Once you have a like a dominant party system in 2014 which is also trying to replace the existing sort of like elite order this polarization seems to have become much more visible. There's no benign the fact that BJP has an ideological agenda which has the religious access at the score and so that ideological religious access is now producing some sort of like ideological polarization. Not just elites but even we are seeing divisions in the mass attitudes as well, he says.
