Are We Talking About Time Scales?

The way humans calculated the age of the earth is really interesting and it's fun to watch how humans, they're, you know, basically we created the scientific method. Aristotle believed that earth was infinitely old so he didn't think that it had a beginning or an end. Leonardo da Vinci actually started looking at some sea fossils like shells and stuff in 1510. Archbishop James Usher used the Bible as his tool for how he trying to figure this out. And that is where we get the 6,000 years old thing.
