Is the Scotch Revolution a Revolutionary Movement?

The term scotch revolution was pioneered by David stevenson in the 19 seventies. It resulted in a mass of transfer of power from the king to parliament, and it also resulted in the abolition of the clerical estate. But i think we need to be pretty cognizant of continuitys as well, so ideas that are maybe not changing as much. And when we look out both covenanters and royalists together, we see an interest ing dynamic but on the whole, i would say i do think it is a revolution.
