Don't Swear Allegiances
In Matthew 6, jesus tells people not to swear allegiances to things. He also says they shouldn't do it in public so that people can see and praise them. The ideais that if you're allegiance to the kingdom, of heaven, you won't. Your main enemy will be idolatry - treating others as your god.
