Trajan's Life in Rome

Trajan spent the next two years in rome solidifying his position, always with one eye on dacia. He freed more of domitian's old political prisoners and returned more confiscated property to the aristocratic victims of the last flavians regime. Trajan had no interest in acting as an omniscient central authority, and let it be known that he would rely on the sound judgment of his provincial governors.
