The Reversal of QE
The balance sheet of the ECB, and it's peak was about 8.5 trillion. The Bank of England is doing it actively. It's selling bonds that it has bought during QE. While the ECB and the Fed are doing that in a kind of passive way,. They are letting asset mature. Actually, they are not even letting all asset mature. They're only letting mature part of the asset.
