The training of working at a big company is important. Then you could go back and work at a smaller company or a mid-sized company to advance your career maybe at a faster pace than if you had stayed at the big company. That's absolutely true. I tell people there's no right answer to that question, it's totally situational because you do get a breadth of experience at a small company too.
