Ampicillin for Enterococcus in Urine
UCLA had a huge amount of VRE. We implemented a new rule where we quit doing susceptibility testing on them. That is my favorite thing to tell a physician that you can use ampicillin for this uncomplicated UTI even though it says resistant, we can do this. I was not paying out of pharmacist loves more than like looking at using less mango. Yeah. But then, you know, we've done more sophisticated things too. It kind of incorporated the micro and the PKPD and all these like cool aspects.
