Paul: Python.org has a very, very basic story for this. We have PIP, pre-ins, so that's basically our entire story. Linux distros have their own story, which again, they keep a very narrow focus on what they want to care about. And users want things outside of that. When you try and go outside of that, then things start breaking down just the same as all the distributions do. So it's got pluses and minuses. It gets into places where it otherwise couldn't if packaging was a core feature of the runtime. But it does mean that packaging is determined by the distribution and not by the core team.
