Capital Gains and Soul Security Tax Phase Outs

One of the planning items we do, and I literally had a meeting with a client yesterday, it was so exciting. So all capital gains, they were generated for them last year, completely tax free. That phase out is going from $41,600 about this year to 44,000 for single filers and going from about 83,000 to about 89,000 for those that are married, filing jointly. Make sure you understand how you're handling capital gains and how you're accelerating income in case you can stay in that 0% long-term capital gains bracket.
