The Different Types of Cloud Seeding
To nudge clouds into raining, you can shoot seeding chemicals into them using rockets on the ground. Or like Gary, disperse them from flares from the wing of your plane. The other flavor of cloud seeding is something called hygroscopic seeding. You see precipitation up on the sky, the radar, but by the time it reaches the ground, it's totally evaporated. This is a problem over in the Middle East and United Arab Emirates.
