The Importance of Front Loading Innovation Campaigns

In pharma, you can predict with about 90 to 95% accuracy how a product is going to perform over the 17 year life of its patent based on basically our performance in its first month after launch. So as a result, the way in which those products are marketed is so aggressively front loaded that I think with data like yours, you're probably going to see a lot more front loading of innovation campaigns. That's big news because that means for vendors or manufacturers who are creating new brands, new products, new SKUs, that's an awfully tough pill to swallow.
