The Importance of Denial
Shania said it happened so what's so sad to read is that Shania upon finding out that her husband and best friend were sleeping together didn't actually jump into incandescent rage. She did the opposite she encouraged everyone involved to basically pick up and carry on as if nothing had ever happened. For sure Shania even wrote Marianne a letter about the affair and it does indicate that she wanted to keep her in her life. See that I think that's quite telling. Has or hasn't been up until now and that things have been changed forever for all of us.
