If you're in the future with a working brain, you'd have a way to pay. I don't think it's a stretch at all to think that there'd be some way to earn money. What would I pay to come back with my personality but no memories? Not so much. There are corollaries where the good outcome is actually really, really cool. The spreadsheet does not have an entry for insufficient accurate simulation or insufficiently accurate simulation.
