What's on the Other Side of Our Hill

Bonhoeffer knew if he was going to train disciples of Jesus for a kingdom of love and joy and power in the Holy Spirit it was going to be through a superior discipline. We live in a culture that is hell bent on malforming us not into being more loving patient kind good gentle self-controlled poor and spear humbled meek but those things have been taken out of it completely. The New Testament calls the powers that are militating against us and so we believe as your pastors here at New City that we need a superior discipline  that's the only way that you won't be malformed by our culture.
