Is Air Resistance Really Important in Figure Skating?

Air resistance is a different amount of friction on ice verses the ground. In figure skating, you have so you move in your own body. A more petite person, that's easier to do, as you have less mass to move and with shorter limbs. So if you have shorter arms and legs, ecause you're more petite, it's also easier to rotate. Since so much rotating and spinning and figure skating, it helps, generally, to se a smaller person.
