Fintech Acquisition Landscape for 2023
I think there are going to be a lot of companies that have potential, but they need a lot more cash in order to basically continue operating. A lot of these companies could be snapped up by larger entities that have built in distribution or the ability to handle the burn of these companies while they scale. The question is whether those acquisitions will happen. Acquiring a company is a skill just like anything else. You don't show up one day and decide you're going to plunk down a billion dollars for an acquisition. Until you've practiced it, the chances of you doing anything large or doing it with frequency are very low.
