The Importance of Structure in Stoicism
I love listening to or reading about Marcus Aurelius and the way he approached, you know, the situations that he had to face as an emperor. And one of the things that are very self evident in most of his diary entries is tapping into that,. That side of himself that sort of sacrifices the power on the external and goes within in order to provide for his kingdom. If you're living a life of chaos and no structure or no boundaries, it'll also be just as difficult to find the time to connect to the higher self if that makes sense.
