Seymour Nussonbaum served in the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops. He was 19 years old and going to art school when he got a call from the Army asking him to join an outfit that would be doing camouflage work. "I wasn't a very aggressive person. I wasn't a macho person," says Seymour, now 99.
