Grimm's Fairy Tales

The collection was called Nursery and Household Tales, or De Kinda und Housemitchen in German. There were 86 stories originally in the collection. They trumped it up to be a little more folksy than it was. And so this nursery and household tales became known as Grimm's fairy tales.
