The 70s: A Generational Shift in Economics
In the 1960s and 70s, 6% interest rates in one decade led to inflation of 10%. The end of so-called Euromoney arrangements basically stopped international capital from flowing through the place. This is what the French call the tunt glorious. But if you look at the long term, it's such an anomaly that we need to be ever vigilant about this sort of thing.
