The major questions doctrine is a rule that an agency can only do, you know, economically significant, politically significant things when congress explicitly and specifically allows them to do so. In the oral argument in this case, justice brett cavanagh basically summarized the court's prior cases that way. Yet, i'm happy to talk about why that's kind of like a big wrench in s ability to address problems, but that'skind of what it is.
