Mormons don't have that correction of the Old Testament or the New Testament and certainly not the Book of Mormon. So they're stuck with that literalistic narrative that's just handlessly racist, right? Absolutely. And Mormonism it is because if you reject the reality or the literalness of what Joseph Smith said, then you reject the foundation of the entire Mormon paradigm and Mormonism becomes nothing. Yeah. That's sort of us writing into God's mouth our own, our own cultural stuff and our own interpretation of history. What's different is Mormons don't in 2023.
