Marx and Swamithian Man - The Unhappy Marriage

There is a rough overlap between Christian and Marx's values but at a certain point they contradict each other. Where did, was there a single influence that Marx drew his materialistic from? But then my pure intellect will have subtracted from it all my memories, desires and sensations. So what will be the difference between us? It will be a kind of species intellect.
