The metaphor of a prostitute is about as good as it gets when it comes to the wicked world that has no loyalties, and just who can pay me off for what i can offer them. I m you want to talk about advertising and commercialism and consumerism. So much of it seems like prostitution. They're just trying to sell themselves to the highest bidder. That exact analogy is one that john will run with in the book of revelation When he describes this prostitute on the beast.
