Eden's Diverse Pupil Intake
We spend about £10 million each year on bursaries and financial aid so supporting families who couldn't otherwise consider Eden. There exists students in sixth form whose family do not pay fees. I believe there's 112 families now who have kids at Eden who don't pay fees. Some of them are selected just through our regular admissions process in Ferrantia in year nine or 11. We also have a specific sick form program called the Orwell Award named after George Orwell. They're famous old Italian and that's trying to take young people who come from environments where perhaps they haven't had the range of educational opportunity one might have hoped.
