Is a Date Like a Cafeteria Hand?
A date has to have a few hallmarks. There needs to be an agreed upon locale and time suggested or an invitation. And there needs to be something building. If after that date you don't want to hang out with that person anymore, then it was probably just a one-sided affair. So I think a date can be a pretty relaxed, no stakes, hang out and still be a date.
