The Importance of Isolationism
I think isolationism is similar to that insofar as there never really was a period of real isolationism in American history. It's a term that people use against people who either don't agree with their trade policy or their foreign policy or their military policy. And it's a, it's a demonizing, anesthetizing word. I'm not a fan of Rand Paul and I despise Ron Paul,. But regardless, he got called isolationists all the time on the sort of the military so quote unquote, imperial stuff.
