The Dissonance Between Philosophy and Public Affairs

Many academic philosophers only know about what's going on in philosophy. I've tried to apply some ways of thinking that I derived from philosophy to try and find the underlying structure of arguments, or even sometimes certain logic and events. Apply those ways ofthinking that I got from philosophy by studying philosophy for many years, many several decades, and apply them to the world of public affairs. One of the reasons why,. perhaps the main reason why I support it Thatcher is strongly as I did back in the 1980s - she was a militant anti-communist, as I was. And so when communism collapsed in 1989 to 1991, to me it was the culmination of a period of working with various people
