How Much Story Needs to Be in a Short Story?
Short stories are supposed to have a beginning, middle and an end. But i find it very difficult because all the ideas that i have end up novel sized. What advice do you have for writers like me who can't really work it out, like how much story needs to be in a short story? Well, taking ta shorte isn't exactly a craft book. It isn't a craft book at all, i'll say that up front. So i'm only sharing my own experience with my own short stories versus my novels.
