The Power of Psychedelics
I had an uncle who died by suicide when I was 10 years old and we were very close. And I always thought even though all of the adults in my life told me it was not my fault, I felt like somehow it was my fault because I didn't talk to him enough or I didn't let him know how much I loved him. He wasn't saying anything to me, but I understood that his death had nothing to do with me; he just wanted to relieve the pain. The experience allowed me to have a deeper understanding of who I am and what my role is in the world and with them. That is a gift that keeps on giving.
