The Importance of Sharing Your Humanity in Writing

I've always felt drawn to writing and I've always imagined being a writer. When I published my book last year, which I was approached to write, as I moved through the book writing process I just fell in love with the practice of writing. Over the last year or two I've found myself in a place where it feels like there is more room to write from my whole self. Yeah, to pursue letting myself be seen in that way which is still quite uncomfortable and a growing edge but it's one that actually feels nurturing and makes me feel more alive.
