One of my pastoral goals, i've actually said this from the pulpit, it's been a minute. I need to say it again. One of my pastoral s is to inflame in the men a desire and a passion for glory,. It's not just their self glorification. The glory of a thing is that thing when it is at peace with what god has made it to be and do. So a man is glorious when he is for christ's crown and kingdom - loving his wife, raising children, loving his neighbor. And that man will win glory. But sometimes people think, they mistake hard, masculine risk taking, courageous vocational work, and they mistake it for babele
