The Four Integral Reasons for Trust
In Aquinas, trust is an integral part of the virtue of faith in the mind and the virtue of hope in the heart. We must believe ourselves to be an object of a person's concern in order to trust them. In other words, we must believe that that someone cares about us in order for trust to exist.
