The dying out of interdisciplinarity is one of the influences of modernity, not necessarily Western Eastern. So we have seen this also in the Muslim world. It had found its way even in Allah's hand, the religious institution. The second half of the 20th century, you will hardly find those scientists who are well versed in Sharia or the opposite. They are split. Even if they are graduates of Allah's hand. You don't see this anymore later with few exceptions. And since the 1980s, they do nothing because it's a bioethics from an Islamic perspective. Only only things related to bioethics.
