St. Catherine of sienna plays a significant role in the lives of dominican nuns and sisters, says Pope Francis. The insights that saint thomas had to which he gave expression in scholastic, physical terms, saint catherine captureid often in poetic and mystical terms. And so the dialogue is the great treasure of the order. It's one that we are encouraged to read in the noviciate, and that many hold very dear and very close to their hearts.
