The Evolution of Work With Hands in the 20th Century

There's a shift away from thinking all the time about immigrationism in the 19th century to other ways of thinking about Africa. One thing about Booker T that I find interesting is that he simultaneously accepts the permanence and inevitability of racism. And also has a positive strategy for racial uplift that doesn't involve going to Africa.
