The Importance of Price
Price is a filter for most people, but it is not number one. The number one thing that comes before the price is the perceived value to that specific person at that specific time. So if you are conveying the value of your thing in a way where it's not crystal clear to the buyer, whether it's going to scratch their itch, then they're not going to buy.
