Seizures - Can You Have Bilateral Motor Activity With Retained Awareness?

It's possible to have bilateral motor activity and still retain awareness. Seizures can spread rapidly before engaging areas of the brain that are important for consciousness. People may have retained awareness with what looks like a tonic, clonic seizure. It's not so common, but it's an important thing not to get caught out on.
