The Voyager Interstellar Message Project

Soye: I remember standing in a von carmon auditorium as a scruffy college radio reporter, watching those first images come in froma viking one back in the summer of 76. Let's talk about that golden record. You see it in that place of pride over my shoulder here in my home office, officially known as the voyager interstellar message project. So it 's 19 77, and karl and i have worked with our close friends and colleagues on a project for the children's television workshop that was never produced. It was a very, actually, very extraordinary series of events and developments for that time.
