The Guide Line Breaks

I guided her through two restrictions, places that are so tight that you're swim in between the rocks. The third restriction was the smallest and we made it through oca and got our sample work done. She snagged our guide line, that thin nilon rope that leads us all the way to safety. In turning round, the visibility was obliterated from the silt. Even just trying to rotate in place, it was inevitable. I'm holding on to her ankle with my left hand. And then suddenly i feel a bang. The guide line broke.
