Suins and Swats: A Scottish Out Ferment

Suins and swats are a traditional Scottish out ferment. It's made with the husks that came back from miller after oats were ground into oatmeal. You can make it if you aren't dairy free, gluten free or even lactose intolerant. I've got 10 years experience of drinking these ferments so I kind of know how my body reacts through experience. We drink them cold in the summer because they're really refreshing like haymakers water.
