The Importance of Giving Back

I was raised to believe that if you see a problem or you see an issue, you don't complain about it. You figure out a way to fix it. And I got into writings and readings for folks like Jane Goodall and Rachel Carson,. Jacques Cousteau, Marty Stelfer from Royal America. That's how I got into the Fish and Wildlife Service. Loved it; did it for five years until they sent me back for a degree in political science with a minor in environmental policy. It gave me a passion to contribute in the area of environmental conservation.
