I'm Not Going to Make a Retroactive S Election for 2022, Who Cares?
Snow White 80 says, I am retroactively pursuing an S corp for 2022. My income so far has been through my personal name and I've requested that the 1099 for 2022 income be in my business name instead of my personal name. And wondering if you ever run in this situation, the company CPA are stumped as to whether this could be a problem for the company or not. If you're not going to make a retroactive S election for 2022, then who cares? Get the 1099 into your own name, get it into the LLC. It's all going to go to a Schedule C.
