Form Is Emptiness, Everything Is Empty

The phrase form and emptiness is a phrase from a buddhist sutra called the heart sutra. The idea is that all things, all beings, are empty of any abiding, fixed identity. When i was writing the book, what i was thinking about was this sense of radical connectivity. We rely on each other, we depend on each other. There's so much compassion in this book. But also, you have a very playful way of showing benny's responses and annabel's responses. She really her kid, no matter what. Her kid is her priority.
