The Church's Response to Immigration

Nicole: I think immigration brings a clash, especially in evangelical churches of two realities. One is the charitable abroad reality where evangelical churches tend to be very generous and charitable. But when a Guatemalan moves next door to me, there's a great deal of fear. How do I reconcile that with this desire that I believe is driven by God to care for those who are in need? So immigration brings up those realities. And I think it's really split.
