In 18 forty, dentist chapan harris was an admirer of teeth. He credited them with giving beauty and symmetry to the face. In that same year i found out that the first us. Patent was awarded for a camera. And the photographic negative was invented that year too. Photographs created new standards of beauty and kind of standardized people's expectation of beauty. The cosmetic dental boom really took off in the 19 eighties and nineties thanks to these new bonding products and veneers.
