Are You Able to Do Work That You're Proud Of?
P pride is a really important word to focus on with teams and that can include speaking at a conference like this. What is it that prevents people from doing work that are proud of because they want to? This is a very you know theory y and so theory x you know people are internally motivated to do the things they don't need a minder watching the clock making sure that they're working to rule. That's not an effective humane way to work. It has been for the last 250 years in a manual labor repetitive knowable context which is very different from knowledge work and an un knowable context.
