In this episode we speak to Adam Jordan, self proclaimed 'Social Media Ninja', founder of Social Kick agency, influencer marketing expert and an all round entrepreneurial, self made good bloke.
He tells the story of how he went from running fashion and meme pages in the early days of instagram, to learning how to monetise properly, building an impressive corporate client roster and ultimately achieving time and location freedom through his business. This has allowed him to travel the world, rub shoulders with many of the biggest faces in the influencer marketing space but also see things from an insider perspective, and as he reveals - not everything online is quite how it seems.
We share stories of crazy influencer marketing bloopers, finding fulfilment in freedom rather than material things and how being verified on instagram isn't always the best way to get girls - and sometimes actually quite the opposite! We also discuss his vision for the future, the power of personal branding and how building his own ecom brand could soon be on the cards.
A natural born networker, Adam is a great example of creating something from nothing essentially from his phone and access to the internet, and I think this will be a valuable and unique insight into his world and market for all listeners - enjoy!
