The Irreversibility of Nature in the Second Law
To explain the second law, you have to assume that the initial conditions are very improbable so the system is more ordered than it might be. So why is there such a strong arrow of time if the laws of physics are fundamentally reversible in time? Roger Penrose's proposal was it may be the fundamental laws are actually time asymmetric and the time symmetric laws are emerging in approximate form.
